⮚ The Vidya Jyoti Foundation is a grass root level organization, which was established in the year 2014 with the leadership of Mrs. Shakuntala Mahanta with four likeminded social workers of Keonjhar district with the objectives to impart quality and value based education to the children of the deprived communities, provide basic health facilities in the remote tribal village of Keonjhar, Protection, management and regeneration of the natural resources by the indigenous tribal communities, strengthening the traditional institutions and revival of the indigenous climate resilience agricultural practices with community lead process .ODISHA BIGRADE SCHOOL, Keonjhar is one wings of the foundation to promote value based education to the children within the age group of 4 to 15 years . It was started in the academic year 2015.
